SAT, ACT, PSAT and AP Test Preparation
California Learning Center offers SAT, ACT, PSAT and AP prep courses, with an average of six students per class. With this small group setting, we can offer highly personalized attention to your student, and find out exactly what he/she needs to succeed. Watch for additional Test Prep courses as the year progresses and official test dates are announced.
College Test-Taking Strategies & Subjects
Our test prep curriculum includes instruction and practice with SAT and ACT Test Taking Strategies, Math Basics and Strategies, Sentence Completion Strategies, Reading Comprehension Strategies (short & long passages), Test Day Strategies, Geometry, Advanced Arithmetic & Algebra, and Essay Writing.
Unless otherwise noted, all SAT and ACT Prep Courses consist of 16 hours of instruction from 10 am to 2 pm. There will be some homework assignments.
Our PSAT Intensive Test Prep Course is a two-day, 5-hour intensive course that prepares high school sophomores and juniors with test-taking strategies and practice.
AP Intensives are 5-hours over two days and prepare students for tests in AP Biology and AP Chemistry.

We also offer individualized SAT and ACT test tutoring, where we will create a customized lesson plan tailored for your individual student. All tutoring is held at our center or via Skype.

Test preparation programs are available for a number of standardized tests. These programs are designed to introduce students to test format and teach strategies for answering questions and managing time. We offer tutoring for many tests including:
